Wew survived my first night here in my Hamilton accom!

Today is Labour Day here in Canada so everything is closed... including most grocery stores.

Since most places weren't open anyway, it was a super nua day and I slept in till 11.30am HAHA. So much for waking up at 8am lel.

My roommate Qirong showed me around our street cos she came a day earlier and had explored the vicinity already.

The area felt so quiet. Not sure if it's cos Hamilton is a small town or if it's cos it is a national holiday. Felt abit meh when we passed a few homeless people outside the nearby mall but we looked quite homeless in our black tops, gray joggers and black hoodies haha.

And we passed by Rebecca Street!

Grabbed a bagel from Tim Horton's and it was the best decision of the day! They toast the bagel and smear cream cheese inside mmmmmm you can even choose what kinda cheese you want. Plus it's only $1.59! Nice right :p

We cooked dinner shortly after - simple dish of spaghetti with mushroom cream soup/sauce - but it's so comforting to eat warm food in a cold place! Achievement unlocked for Qirong, Xueyong and I hahah first home cooked meal in our accom :)

It was movie night for us cos we watched Moana on my laptop while slurping up our food from the kitchen table!! One of the most feel-good Disney movies ever heh. My favorite is still Zootopia though!

Can't rmb what time I slept but it was a good day nuaing around and getting to know my housemates better.

Still putting together the video for our USA road trip so may take awhile to continue updating my blog with photos/posts till that is done
